Recycled hardwood stand.
The 25mm thick charcoal slate has been inset with a chunk of faceted green glass that transforms the light. The accent of gold smalti in green shades, provides extra brilliance and a stark contrast to the rusty steel curves and lead flashing around the lower porthole.
