The form for this mosaic sculpture was created from a used detergent bottle and some waste polystyrene. The skin of cement on mesh was then covered in hand cut pieces of china; the curves chosen to follow the form and create the shape of the young animal. Potter’s kiln cones were adhered to create the horns, while the ears and tail are handles from hand built ceramics.
