This monolith of sawn and carved slate stands proudly, in stark contrast to the block of veined white marble that is the base.
The cross hatched design is incised in the the smooth surface and provides a counterpoint texture to the charcoal slate . A waxed finish has been used to highlight both the lines and also feel of the piece.
